Another wacky rules question

OK so while playing Pasatiempo, two guys hit their second shots from opposite sides of the fairway almost at the same time, with the guy closer to the hole a fraction of a second behind. In what had to be a 1 in 1,000,000 occurrence, their balls collided about 100 yards down the fairway as they were both moving.

What are the rules consequences, if any?

Both players play their balls as they lie, no penalties. From 19-5b:

If a player's ball in motion after a stroke is deflected or stopped by another ball in motion after a stroke, the player must play his ball as it lies. There is no penalty, unless the player was in breach of Rule 16-1f, in which case he incurs the penalty for breach of that Rule.

(The referenced Rule 16-1f handles the case that a player makes a stroke while a ball struck from the putting green is still in motion, which is not the case here)
