This may seem like a stupid question to some, but I am wondering as I'm waiting for my new Method putter to ship in...
If any of you have had any experience oredering putters from Golfsmith.com, did you recieve the headcover also? It seems like the normal thing to get it when your buying a putter, but it never said anything about a headcover on the website for this putter.
Thanks for you help...

Ordering new, you'll definitely get a headcover. Ordering preowned from Golfsmith, you'll never get a headcover.

Sure, and enjoy that new putter. I was actually at Golfsmith this past weekend, and if I didn't already have 2 really good putters, I could have gone crazy there. I hit the Method, the TM Ghost (blade and mallet), some other Odysseys, etc. Lots of great putters out there these days, and the Method is really nice.

Definitely will enjoy it

Yep, there's a lot of putters out there that can fit different peoples' styles and I just loved the Method.

    • Tale of two swings.  Swing 1: Slightly outside takeaway (hands move outside of target line) only to allow trail elbow over collapsing at P4. Doesn't take much to overdo it for the trail elbow collapse to only further exaggerate. That's death. Swing 2: Hands stay slight in at takeaway for a much better trail elbow condition at P4. This is a hard sell from an instinct perspective. More focus on un-weighting and re-weighting of lead foot to unlock a bit more mobility of hips and torso. A major flaw that creeps up often is me swinging flat footed and becoming overly armsy-collapsy as a result. Got reminded of this the hard way during my 2nd round match for club net championship. Was cruising along 2up until I made the turn. Then lost the swing for next five holes. Andy was playing good enough to capitalize. By the time I regained my swing on 16th, it was too late. Even Andy was like "That was a gift". Obviously that stings because have played well enough lately. Should have closed him out of the game comfortably with a few holes to spare. Shoulda woulda coulda. Tough lesson. Damn. P.S. I know the swings look very similar but trust me there is a difference.
