Being a mallet guy, I have never tried this putter, but it looks great with the 3 white alignment lines...Anyone try, buy, or use now??

I use the red x. If mallets are your thing then they don't get much better than the red x. The GSS insert gives a nice smooth feel and sound. It sits nice and square at address and the 3 lines work well to help with alignment. You can get them for a good price on ebay too. Give it a go, if you don't like it you could sell it on without loss.

I would reccommend the Fastback model over any Red X. I think the Red X has a weird shape, and the Fastback is a bit smaller and I believe more high quality, at least according to the prices. Granted, if you like the Red X, I would buy one, because they are very very cheap now, and all Scotty Cameron's are high quality. Try to roll a couple putts with each. Let us know what you think..
