Howdy folks. I started golfing when I was about 10 and I was pretty decent by the time I was 17-18, but then I broke my wrists and couldnt play. Im 19 now and I really want to get back into it.

My first good set was some Mizunos and I absolutely loves the irons. The woods not so much though. I used to take the woods out of my bag and just use the irons at tournaments.

I think I would like to get another Mizuno iron set, but Im not sure what woods to get.

Im on a budget of about $1300 and I would like:

3-P Irons - Probably Mizuno
Driver - Im thinking Titleist maybe?
3 Wood - ?
Sand Wedge - Cleveland?
Putter - Odyssey?

Any recommendations?

I like alot of the Taylormade R7 or R9 drivers so always give those a look too. Definitly mizuno irons esp since you already want them. 3 wood is personal preference, a few good ones are the nike one in my sig, the titleist 909f, definitly others too. sand wedges are personal preference, I really like my ping tour w and my mizuno wedge, putter again is very personal choice, some good ones are definitly the scotty camerons because of the overall value and performance of them

look into investing a good chunk of that for a putter, a milled face will last you a lot longer than an insert, or any other club in your bag, so you should make sure to be comfortable with it.

Take a look at Callaway FTs, both in driver and fairway woods. FT line is "last year's" model, but they're solid clubs if you can find them.

Callaway FT-9 Driver ($160)
Callaway X-Tour Fairway ($70)
Callaway X-Forged ($400)
Callaway X-Forged Wedge ($70)
Odyssey Black Series-i Putter ($130)

Total comes out to a little over $800 for a full Callaway bag. You could replace the irons with Mizunos which cost $100 more than the Callaways. Good luck with the come back.
