Went out for the 2nd time in the past 2 months today and shot 45, 41, and 40. The 45 and 41 were shot in the morning at Briarwood's East course, then I went back after work to the West course and played the back 9 at 4 over for 40 (they have a play all day special - $20 w/cart and you can go to either course at any time during the day). I was even through 5 which was cool. For all of the crazy wind we had in south central PA today I was really excited to shoot the 41 and 40, my lowest 9 hole rounds ever.

Round highlights:
Great chipping and putting (chipped one in for par)
Couple of awesome 3i shots
Solid driving but the wind dropped my avg. drive by 30 yards...ouch
Only one true blow up hole - 7 on a 4
Lots of pars...unfortunately, no birdies

Just wanted to share!

Nice job. Once you get that 39 on the front you'll really feel like you have momentum going into the back.

Yeah, I was rolling on my last 9 at +1 thru 6 but I did not play the wind well at all on the 17th 170yd par 3 leading to my double. I had just enough time to go back and re-play the 3 holes that were over par and went +2 instead of +4 on them so that made me feel good.

Yes it does! Makes me want to get back out tomorrow when it is suppose to be in the 60s and not so darn windy.
