Best Shaft for R7 425

Can any of you, experts, give me a comparasion or suggestion for these 3 shafts? Please?

Fujikura Speeder 757,
Fujikura Rombax 7v05
Aldila NV 75

all stiff flex. For the TM R7 425 9.5* stiff

My club head speed is around 100 mph
launch angle 13-15
spin around 3.500 to 4.000
I have a Quick Tempo and im more like a ball hitter than swinger.

IMHO the rombax shaft is the best.. its the one I use for my all my woods.. however take them for a spin on the launch monitor

so a stock tm shaft is better than a speeder 757. yeh ok...

I read your question yesterday and today i was at the Q-school phase 1 qualifier at San Juan Oaks CA and i was walking with one of the players, a pro from the Canadian tour who has this same club and so i asked him about this and his response indicated that it is not the custom to replace the stock Rombax staff in pro golfing circles, so i would assume that this shaft is of very high quality and probably just as good if not better than the speeder 757 at least for this club.

after all, people are paying over $800 for this club with the Rombax, so you know it's not a cheap shaft. I believe the speeder goes for around $300, so price wise the shafts are probably much the same. Rombax technology is newer and more innovative.

I have the same driver and i would not change the shaft to a speeder, the Rombax seems exactly right but of course individual preference must be acounted for.

BTW, a great number of Q-school players are using the R7 425 TP and they say it's an awesome club.

Also a side note, everyone i asked was using the ProV1, no exceptions. However they all complained that the ball was spinning off the greens LOL. I said, use the ProV1x, but they are totally sold on the ProV1.

i agree with the Fujikura rombax comment. If its good enough for Sergio Garcia it should good enuff for us mear mortals.

Yes, it is... if we're talking about the TP model. If we're not, then that's a different discussion altogether.

Sergio and pros using an $800 club have the TP driver. I like my Rombax shafts too. And since the non-TP only has a "Reax" shaft, that narrows this down to the good shaft of the two "stock" models.

You need a shaft the helps your game, get on a monitor and find out which one works. A factory shaft is usually the best shaft for that head, manufactors don't spend millions of $$$ on testing to put shafts in their clubs that don't give the best results. If you hit the ball 250yds with a stock shaft and change to a more expensive shaft and still hit the ball 250 yds all you got was some bragging time for having the new hot shaft.
The pros who change their shafts get PAID to use the new shafts and they get the same yardage but they pickup some pocket money from the maker of the new hot shaft. Asking us what the best shaft is will get you a different answer because we all swing different and most of us don't change shafts spending hundreds of $$$ looking for 30 more yrds and getting none.
