It was rather chilly today (high 40’s, steady breeze). I normally walk because I enjoy the exercise and the chance to to think about my upcoming shot as I’m walking towards it.
At the turn I hooked up with another member who had a golf cart with the zip-down clear plastic enclosure and a heater running inside. He told me to jump in with him for the back nine. What a difference! Stepping out all warm and limber, hitting the ball and getting back inside was admittedly much more pleasant and definitely helps one score better as opposed to being all bundled up, stiff with watery eyes and runny nose.
I still would prefer walking on a nice day, but in cold weather it was tough to beat.

My initial thought was that I would get so warm and then rush the shot to get back to the cart. But yeah, I'm not a cold weather fan and I'd take that offer too.

I've done the same thing, but it really comes in handy when it's below freezing. High 40's I probably wouldn't need it.
