Help me fix my golf bag

I have a Cobra staff bag that needs a little lovin as it is a few years old and the leather is going in one particular spot.

Looking for any suggestions as to what i could do to re-finish or re-furbish the affected area.

From looking at that image, I'd say that leather is pretty far beyond refurbishing. Your best bet might be to hit up an upholstery shop and see if they could replace the entire front panel and maybe replicate the stitched Cobra logo, but that might be as expensive as a new bag itself!

Thanks for the idea. Yeah i would say the leather would need replacing. Not too fussed about the logo so maybe they can just put a new panel on?

Should be possible since the rest of the leather looks like it's in pretty good shape. Just replacing the panel shouldn't cost you a fortune, but it might be difficult to make an exact color match.

Try a shoe repair shop. Golf buddy had hole in his leather bag and was very satisfied with work done at shoe repair shop.

      Day 159 1-19 Flow drill while attempting to add arch in wrist on downswing. Not where it needs to be but felt good working on swing flow.

      Day 1 (19 Jan 26) - after a week lay-off due to travels, felt great to get in some drills in the backyard today.  Started with lead arm only short pitches focused on squared face and light divot post ball.  Haven’t done this in a while and it showed, with some skulls and slices.  Settled into easy flighted balls - wrapped up with standard two handed swings.  Good restart to the daily drills.

      That depends what you do within those two.  Are they your only options?   Check out Fit for Golf if you get a moment.  It's linked on the sidebar;  I did it for two years, stopped for a really bad reason, and I plan to get back to it soon.   Mike Carroll also has a great free podcast about a lot of topics in golf fitness.

      Day 30 - 2026-01-19 Got 10 minutes in on the mat / net working on exagerrating movements I'm working on. And grip. Also worked with my friendly AI to summarize key negative tendencies I have so that I can build a personal checklist to follow. Will do more mirror work tonight.
