I have been using stack-n-tilt for the last 4 months and the result is great. My handicap went from 16 to 12 because better ball striking.

In the last two weeks, I have problem with about about half of my shots going straight right. About 20 feet right of the target. There is no slice or very mininal slice. The other half of the shots tend to go straight with very few balls in between straight and 20 feet right.

What am I doing wrong? I noticed that if I try to hit the ball with 100% effort then I have no more problem. But I don't want to hit 100% effort all the time (as it can brings other problems) and I didn't have blocking problem in the past hitting the ball about 80-90% effort.

Thanks,

Video would help, but consider the grid: a straight shot means that the path and face angle match. Either you're not moving the circle far enough forward (hips forward, handle forward, flying wedge maintained) or your face is too open.

Since you said 20 feet, I'm going with the former.
