I went and played my 1st round with my new MP-57's I bought. I couldn't have picked a worse day to try to feel the new clubs. It was super windy, so getting my distances was near impossible today, but other than that, I'm super impressed.

I was worried that they may be a little too much club for me, coming from playing with MP-23's forever. What I found was just the opposite. They felt very good and weren't difficult to hit at all. At least no more than the MP-23's. Good shots were still good, and bad shots were still bad.... I have a habit of getting too quick with my backswing, which causes me to hit off the toe, and they punish me for doing that a bit more than the MP-23's.

I'm very happy with them so far. I shot an 85 today in high winds, and hit 7 iron better than I have in a long time. My best score ever is an 84, and I've done that the last 3 rounds before this one in much better weather.

As far as the new putter, I feel like I'm putting much better, even though the numbers don't show it. My distance control was great today, which is what I typically struggled with using my Ping B60. They just weren't dropping today, I had about 5 that lipped out, so there's hope left. I'm pretty comfortable with it.
