Final Stage Practice Round, Palm Hills

Uck. What a nasty taste I had in my mouth after three putting from 3 feet. These greens are out of control. Tricked up, super fast with mega slope! Once I realized that I should stick with punch shots with minimal spin I calmed down a bit. But man those things were nuts. Easily rolling to a 12. And what do you think I saw as I walked off the 18th green? A dude rolling them! sheesh...

But, like I said, once I found my gameplan the place became a little more enjoyable. Ended up actually shooting 1-under on the back. Only had one birdie all day though. Just gotta stick to my putting routine and most importantly, keep my stinkin' head down and still! Put with confidence, not defensively.

Tomorrow I tee off for round 1 on Springfield Royal CC at 8:15. Playing with a fellow I played two rounds with already. Nice guy and we get along. That'll be a help.
