No spin = Knuckle ball. Baseball players understand that a knuckle ball moves in an unpredictable manner. Every golfer needs some spin, mostly back spin rather than side spin (unless one is trying to "work" the ball). I am going to guess that you really were saying less spin rather than no spin. -

I think what @boogielicious was saying is to take several balls that give you the distance and l-r dispersion you are seeking and try them around the greens. This way you can maybe dind one that is your swing’s sweet spot that gives the accuracy and distance you desire and the green side control we all need for those nGIR moments…. -
