http://golf1hour.wordpress.com/ With a golf cart, I could get in 8 holes? Or maybe I'd play 2-3 balls each shot. Alot depends on the hole you get and the course, but an interesting way to practice.

Kill slow play. Allow walking. Reduce ineffective golf instruction. Use environmentally friendly course maintenance.

I wonder how many times you could break par once you have it dialed in. Sounds interesting.

Nice idea for the back 9 on early morning. I part of a private club, and we have lots of slow time on the course where I go out and spend hour or so play two holes or hitting 5 or 10 balls on one hole. Way better practice then the range.

As long as it's a par 4 or 5, surely.

Sounds like a nice way to practice. Par 3's would get tremendously boring though.

Waiting out the 2 feet of snow that just dropped on the course....

I'm sorry...maybe I'm missing something?  How could it possibly work?  The quote below is taken from their website...how can you sell a vacant hole without disrupting normal greens-fee traffic?  My guess is it would be early morning or late evening 'holes'... but the thing is, in 1 hr., with a cart, by myself (which is what they are selling), I can golf at least 6 holes, consecutively.  Why would I want to waste my time driving back to the tee box each time?  Or do I just hit 15 tee shots, 15 approaches, etc???  I would think the golf courses would be better off selling '6-holes' or '4-holes' for 1 hour, if it's late or early then the course would be empty, anyway.

On any given low-turnout day, golf courses can sell their vacant holes without disrupting the normal greens-fee traffic.

If they know what times they have groups going off, they can slot people into to play an hour somewhere on the course. (Ie back nine for 2 hours after the first tee off. The first few holes if there is a gap of an hour between tee times etc.

I can see the point of play 6 holes, but it is nice to work on shorts on a hole without having to move on.
