How far south do I need to go to golf?

Here I sit in St. Paul Minnesota and I really really want to golf.  The simulators just aren't cutting it, I need to be on grass!

How far south do I need to go to find the first open golf courses?  Any help is appreciated greatly!

Yo Busta, I'm biased but I'd suggest looking around Orlando or Tampa. We've had a couple cold snaps come thru but all courses are open everyday in this region.

You can still play in Carolina this time of year.  Anything south of that is obviously playable.

My folks are in myrtle beach - it's been below freezing down there for practically the last month.     I'm going to vegas in 3 weeks to golf ... love the dessert courses.       Bookit.com  hooked me up with a great deal on plane, car & room at a casino on the strip ... forget south, "go west young man" !     Can't wait to get on here ... click on flyover video

usually both of the carolina's are playable this time of year. but i prefer savannah and south of it.

Carolinas are hit or miss this time of year. If you want to be assured of denet golf waether, Florida, AZ or Mexico are the best bets
