Hey guys, I'm in need of a quick suggestion here..

I have been hitting my driver kind of hit miss the past couple of rounds and the ball flight out of say ten drives is either straight - 2/10, straight fade -3/10, or a push fade - 5/10. This is weird because I can work my irons and my hybrid as well as hitting my strong 3 wood a lot better than my driver in terms of my ball flight. I am hitting my clubs in the sweet spot I'd say 95% of the time.

I am just curious as to why my ball flight is like this and I hate not having a good shot at the green for my second and having to pull off a shot to make up for my first shot.. Frustrating to say the least.

How long is your driver and what shaft do you have in the driver?

If you hit your other clubs as well as you say you do, then therotically, maybe your driver specs need to be looked at?

Well I am still using the Callaway Diablo Edge Tour driver and the shaft is stock, I went with it because of the feel but for some reason I have never been accurate with it unlike all my other clubs, its weird like I said..

I am going to be fitted next week for a 910 D2 and so I might want to see my ball flight with the different shaft combinations and maybe that might be it, my shaft. I might need something with a different torque or kick point.. Who knows

The length on the shaft I have in my Callaway right now is, 45 in.

Stock stiff shaft or regular shaft?  Getting fitted with the 910 D2 is a good idea.  Get that part figured out first, see what your results are, purchase the driver with the shaft that fits you and based on that, you'll know if your issue is equipment or swing related.

It was the shaft. I got fitted for the 910 D2 with the RIP shaft and boy was it night and day in terms of ball flight and overall feel. I have my draw back and my side spin numbers went from 1600 with my Edge Tour, to 50-300 with the 910 D2.. I was very impressed and the guy knew his stuff cause he told me it may not feel like my old shaft was a little too whippy but with a SS at 103 that was indeed the problem. I went from having push fades to draws and straight shots again!

I can't wait till I pick up this driver next week!

Ball more forward and teed up means that you are more apt to be hitting closer to the front side of the circle (out-in).

It ended up being my shaft.. I thought it was swing but I tried swinging in to out and still nothing..
