Good luck trying to find anything around Augusta now. They fill up pretty quick around Augusta as soon as notices are mailed to the lucky practice round lottery winners. Which was in September. You might find something, but it will be high as a cats back. I booked something in Madison, GA which is on the east side of Atlanta. About an hour past Atlanta.

You should look into Aiken SC.  I stayed there a couple of years ago and it was closer than anything I could find in GA
