New to the board!

Not so new to Golf!

So, i'm in the market for a new set of clubs. I have played golf for sometime now, ever since i was little. I am a lower handi-cap golfer and have always played blades. Im wanting to try to get outside of the blades ive always played. Although, i really dont want to stray away from the sharp cut and control with the 7-pw. I just need something new. Any idea's would greatly appreciate it!

Currently playing titleist dci 990.

You might start by taking a look at a parallel post:

If you're interested in being aggressive with the 7-PW in your new set, you might consider:

  • A mix and match with different iron models from the Titleist 710 series.
  • Nike VR Pro Combo: goes from pocket cavity in long irons, to split cavity in mids, to blades in short irons.

Focus, connect and follow through!

You can make a combo set with most any top OEM. Just make sure the lofts stay in sequence.

Personally I like blades down to my long irons, (2,3,4) then cb's.
