12 July 25 - Got invited to a Sat morning round with some friends. Was a decent round - sort of a pre-tournament round for the 1st of Aug. Best play of the day - lost ball off the tee on 7. Took the drop, hit 3rd onto the green, missed the par putt by 3 inches short - middle of cup. Was a good bogie recovery. Learned a valuable lesson - the wedge is your friend, the collars on the greens are just long enough that they kill the putter (unless you hammer it). Back to more of those nice chip and roll drills.

Day 357: played 27 holes. +6 total - pretty pleased. Only negative was missing the hole 3 times from within 4 feet… -

Day 1: 7/12/25 exactly 60 minutes of chipping practice. Unlikely to be able to practice very much but sure had a blast today!
