Fair enough. So you get my stock answer: early extension is almost always in truth a lack of regaining the proper amount of flexion.

P1 (Address): Flexion

P4 (Top of BS): Extension

P6 (Shaft parallel to ground): Address flexion

P7 (impact) onward: extension

iacas, how do you practice going from extension at p4 to flexion at p6? what if you are in flexion at p5 but "jump up" a little too early and become in extension? should you try to feel as if you are staying in extension through the follow through?
