I would think so.  If you figure 7-8 bucks for a large bucket, the $49 equivalent to 6-7 buckets so if you think you would hit more than that per month (on average) I would say go for it.  Having unlimited that might be a weekend for some.  Then as a bonus you get what I am assuming is chipping/putting green usage.  The $10 GF for off times also seems like a good deal so that you can get out when it isn't too crowded (and you will, practicing gets boring over time).

The question I would have is if you are locked in to a certain amount of months or if you can quit anytime you want?  Also, if you find you want to play more during peak hours, can you upgrade at any time?

I will judge my rounds much more by the quality of my best shots than the acceptability of my worse ones.

It's my understanding that it is a 6 month deal your locked into.

I wish I had a deal like that near me, I'd go for it in a heartbeat.  Of course I guess it depends on the quality of the facilities, but as long as they can provide an ample opportunity for you to practice and improve your game, I'd say go for it.

that's an excellent deal.  my local place wants $110 for a monthly pass.  it used to be unlimited balls but i guess people where sharing the tokens they'd hand out, so they reduced it to like a jumbo bucket a day.  kinda ridiculous.

In my Grom Stand bag:

Driver: Ping G20, 8.5 Tour Stiff
Wood/Hybrid: G20 3W, Raylor 19*, 22*
Irons: R9 5I - SW, TM CGB LW

Putter: Scotty Cameron Kombi-Mid

Favorites: Old Ranch (Seal Beach), Ike/Babe (Industry Hills), Skylinks (Long Beach), Desert Willow (Palm Desert)

It's about 10 miles from me and I've never played it so I'm going to check the facilities this week end.
