I agree pretty much with everything in this article .

What do you think? Did you enjoy seeing the longer rough at the past few Florida stops? I enjoyed seeing people like Kenny Perry, Corey Pavin, Jay Haas, and others in the hunt. Players that have not exceptional distance, but play a great round of golf and are true shot makers.

Tiger can hit his 3-wood as far as most people hit their drivers, so it's puzzling why he continues to blast it into the rough. Perhaps a few more weeks of the rough and the distance debate would practically completely disappear!

On 18 in round 2 or 3 Sergio hit a 2 iron 277 yards right down the middle. 277 is plenty. Yet with the easy rough the pros get most the time they never think about hitting an iron off the tee on a par 4.
