Check out the line of Casio cameras that shoot high speed video.  I have the EX-FS10 which I picked up for about $90... it shoots 210fps at a decent size and I find it to be great.  They do make a few more models that go up in price and I think that at least one of those can be had for about $200 or so, so you may want to check that one out as well.

I picked up the Casio EX-FC100 on ebay, less than 200 new.  Takes great high speed video.  Just remember to get an Ultra High speed memory card.

Casio ZR-100 is the leader currently. Their other cameras good for golf have been discontinued (like the FH-25).

Why don't Casio sell their cameras in Australia???

I couldn't find 1 lousy retailer that stocks Casio cameras. Ebay was full of Hong Kong imports (well, exports) claiming to be located in Australia. I've dealt with them before, wasn't happy.

I ended up finding pretty much the only compact camera under $500 that shoots high speed video, but alas, it has no shutter speed control. The specs are a bit hazy as to what speed the shutter is for HSV, but it's not quoted anywhere in the specs higher than 1/2000 and the club on the down swing is blurry as hell.

The camera I got is the Samsung WB2000. With a 16BG SD card I paid $375.

Soon I'll be able to start a my swing thread so you can see what the videos are like.

I really wanted a Casio ZR100. So if anyone has one and wants to get rid of it...... PM ME!
