I get a lot of balls every Xmas, and this year will be no exception, but I am hoping my brother is going to get me a gadget that you put a golf ball into and it tells you the best place to hit the ball when driving, and the best place to hit when you are putting ( sweet spot finder ) , it might be in the mind that this sort of thing works, or it does not, but I am pretty sure he got me one, and if he has I will be using it on all my balls in 2007 to see if it make a tiny little bit of difference to my game

Just bought an Adams Idea Pro hybrid (23) and I'm going back for more. I'm also trying to decide between the Titleist 755s, the Taylor R7 TPs and the Mizuno MP-60s.

I should probably be spending my money on lessons, but it's much easier to just throw money at the problem.
STICKS:

TAYLOR MADE R9 (9.5) (Fuji Motore)
EXOTICS XCG (15.0) (Aldila DVS)
TAYLOR MADE Rescue TP (17, 21) (Fuji Reax)MIZUNO MP-62 (5-PW) (Dynamic Gold SL Sensicore)MIZUNO MP-R (52, 56, 60) (Dynamic Gold SL Sensicore)YES! Natalie (Tiger Shark)TAYLOR MADE Black (#68)

Let's see, I had quite a few thing on my wishlist that were golf related and I know this is what I'm getting:

Hi Bore 22 degree hybrid
Box of Nike Platinum One Balls
Footjoy winter gloves
Nike dri-fit glove
Ping half-zip jacket
Nike shorts and dri-fit polo
Club Glove stiff arm

I think Santa was good to me this year!

    • LIV golf was pretty close to me in 2023, at the same course that hosted the 2023 Senior PGA.  I didn't go to either one.  I do know a few people who went to the LIV event, and they said it was pretty well attended and pretty well run.  If I had free tickets, I might show up, but I'd probably have to drive 10 miles to park to get a shuttle to come back to within 5 miles of my house.
    • As long as "in town" means a drive of less than an hour, I'd probably go.  I've never actually been to a pro golf event, so it would be a novelty. Presumably, they'd be playing on a course that I'm not normally allowed to visit, so there would be an interest in just going to see the place. My tolerance for traffic is pretty minimal, so if massive headaches are predicted it would dampen my enthusiasm.
    • I would definitely buy tickets and go watch a round or two.
