These marketing campaigns are just getting out of hand. If I hear R11 one more time I am going to puke. I have an R9 and am happy with it but cant wait to officially get TaylorMade out of my bag with something else. I think it hurts their name to golf enthusiasts because I feel it pushes us away from their products.

I consider myself a somewhat serious golf enthusiast and I have many TaylorMade clubs (R9 SuperTri. R7 TP irons, and some hybrids).  I think they make a quality product and couldn't care less about their advertisements and frequent release of new models.  If you like how their clubs perform then why would you care?

And I also think that ad is pretty cool.  Clearly they don't employ the morons from the Progessive insurance ad agency.

OMGosh, they made a giant scale R11 to promote the real R11?! How disgusting, do they have no standards at all? Of all the things I thought they'd do, I'd never expect them to use a unique and cool idea to help advertise their clubs. Despicable.

Really though, who cares? Even if this were remotely a big deal, it still wouldn't actually be a big deal.

I think it's kinda cool. I like the way they incorporated it into the ad on the wall.

      Day 1 (19 Jan 26) - after a week lay-off due to travels, felt great to get in some drills in the backyard today.  Started with lead arm only short pitches focused on squared face and light divot post ball.  Haven’t done this in a while and it showed, with some skulls and slices.  Settled into easy flighted balls - wrapped up with standard two handed swings.  Good restart to the daily drills.

      That depends what you do within those two.  Are they your only options?   Check out Fit for Golf if you get a moment.  It's linked on the sidebar;  I did it for two years, stopped for a really bad reason, and I plan to get back to it soon.   Mike Carroll also has a great free podcast about a lot of topics in golf fitness.

      Day 30 - 2026-01-19 Got 10 minutes in on the mat / net working on exagerrating movements I'm working on. And grip. Also worked with my friendly AI to summarize key negative tendencies I have so that I can build a personal checklist to follow. Will do more mirror work tonight.
