reshaft or no?

So I have a mizuno MP-001 5 wood that I absolutely love, and have no intentions of replacing it anytime soon. Favorite club in the bag. The issue is its a regular flex shaft. And it's really old. I'm not sure what my clubhead speed exactly is but when I got my R11 last week the guy at Nevada Bob's said I definitely need a stiff if not an X, and he said my driver speed is upper 90's. Would getting a new shaft in this club do any good or even be worth it?

If you were hitting it great and had no thoughts of reshafting before it was mentioned, I wouldn't do it. On the other hand, if you noticed that it had excessive spin and/or didn't fly as straight as you thought it should then you should look into something a little stiffer.

If you hit it like a champ as is why risk messing up your mojo with a new shaft.

sorry to chime in so late but if there's a clubmaker anywhere near you call them and ask if they can do a flex test of your shaft.  that way if/when it breaks you'll have the specs on that perfect shaft.  there are resources online that can help you find the match.  in fact you could go to the Wishon site and ask if that shaft is in the index then someone could tell you what matches it. or you can post the info here and i'll look it up for ya.  whichever suits you best.
