I'm incredibly happy with what I currently use, and I'm playing great golf, I'm always open to changes though if they are for the better so I wanted to see what you guys would think. This is really just for fun, I just to see what people would change with my bag, don't worry about my style or skill I just want to know your personal opinions based on what you like.

2011 Bag:

  • TaylorMade Burner Superfast 2.0 (10.5 , Stiff)
  • TaylorMade Tour Burner 3 Wood (15 Degree)
  • TaylorMade R9 5 Wood (17 Degree)
  • Nike SQ Squared 3 Hybrid (20 Degree)
  • Titleist 5-PW 710 CB Irons (Stiff Shafts)
  • Titleist Vokey Wedges (52,56,60)
  • Scotty Cameron Studio Newport 2 Putter

I'm looking forward to seeing what you guys think.

Nothing at all since you don't seem too brand loyal and went with what works. You could look into getting a Spongebob headcover to match your 3-hybrid?!?

Well, since you have one club too many in your bag, I'd drop the 3 wood.  Many people these days are going with a 16-17* 4 wood as the next club after their driver, so it seems you'd be covered by your 17* 5 wood.  I doubt you hit your 15* 3 wood any farther or better than your 17* 5 wood.  Other than that, the only club that seems a bit out of place is the Nike SQ hybrid, which I personally don't think is all that good of a hybrid.  I think there are better clubs out there for that slot, but that's just me.

Equipment:
Ping K15 Driver (10.5º) - Diamana BB R flex; Ping G15 4 Wood (TFC R flex); Ping G15 20* Hybrid (TFC R flex); Ping G15 23* and 27* Hybrids (AWT R flex steel); Ping G15 Irons 6-GW (AWT R flex steel); Ping I-Wedge 54* Wedge; CG14 BP 58* Wedge; Odyssey Black Series Tour Designs #9 Putter

Sorry I accidentally put 4-PW its actually 5-PW. And There's about a 25-30 yard difference between the 3 and the 5 for me. I have been considering a new hybrid for some time now, and recommendations considering what else I seem to like?

Which one of your 15 clubs do you leave in the car?

Once again I'm sorry I had a typo, its 5-PW not 4-PW.

^^^ I think he was talking to me...  I generally play the 4 hybrid in lieu of the 4 iron, but I do have the 4 iron as well, hence why I mention it.

I would at least look into swapping the 5 wood for a Hybrid. If you find one that can fill that spot adequately it could open some things up for you just in that you cant really hit a 5 wood in the rough but a hybrid you can (most of the time). Other then that if your playing well why change much :D

nickent.gif4DX Evolver Driver, ping.gif Rapture 3 Wood, taylormade.gif Burner 08 5 Wood, nickent.gif 3DX RC 3-4 & 5DX 5 Hybrid,
nickent.gif 6-PW 3DX Hybrid Irons, cleveland.gif High Bore 09 GW-SW, touredge.gif 60* Wedge, maxfli.gif Revolution Blade Insert Putter

Yes I'm Aware That's 16 Clubs!

That is a valid point, I will probably try that out with a hybrid. Ya I'm just seeing what people think. Thanks for the input!

If he can't hit a 5-wood out of the rough, he has the wrong 5-wood. If that was my setup, I'd throw in a more lofted 5-wood and a 4-hybrid rather than a 3h.

I love my 5 wood but ditched it in favor of a 19* adams super hybrid. I did it for the versatility from the rough. It goes about 10 yards shorter than a 5 wood.

For you maybe a 17-18* hybrid. Check out Adams and Cleveland.
