Lessons in Greenville/Upstate SC

So after a year of shooting 100's and the occasionally high 90, I've given in to what everyone told me from the start...TAKE LESSONS. :P Now my only question is where to start in looking for lessons as I don't have a membership to any golf course or anything I just play at different courses in the area.  What are typically some fair prices for lessons, and what are some qualifications and other things that I should look for in a golf instructor. Thanks!

Brent Jessup at the Walker Course in Clemson. Great guy and shaved 3 strokes off my game in 15 minutes on the range. If I still lived in the upstate I'd be taking lessons from him. Also, the guy at Southern Oaks in Powdersville (can't remember his name) is supposed to be excellent as well

Chuck and Kyle at the Furman University golf course are both great. A 30-45 minute lesson will run you about $40.
