Video Lessons

I've been doing a ton of reading lately and have come to the conclusion that I would never get a single lesson unless it was on video. I do not care how good a teacher is, the swing is just too fast to diagnose with the human eye. There are just so many things happening at once, I'm glad I found this site before I wasted a lot of money on a local pro that teaches some natural golf swing. :-)

Natural golf swings can be videotaped too, can't they?

I'm guessing anything can be video taped, but not this teacher. He teaches the natural golf swing and does not offer video lessons. Not really knocking the natural golf swing, I don't know anything about it.

If you are working on basic pieces with a beginner, for instance, leg work on the backswing, video is a plus, but not really necessary for the teacher .

For the student, that's another issue, it always help to see oneself working on specific pieces, so as to cement moves, and link feel and reality.

For more advanced players, video is essential, for both student and teacher because as you said, the eye can't see everything.
