I cannot drop a ball according to rule20-2a, the "by Whom and Howl" bit.

Well by Whom - I can handle. Its the how thats the problem

I have damaged both shoulders and it is impossible to hold the ball at shoulder height and arm’s length without supporting the one arm with the other - and only in front of me. Shoulder height and arm’s length to either side is impossible.

I assume that supporting one arm in front of me is OK. If not, I'm sure I can get a waiver.

Am I right?

Yes, you're right.
