The MX-25 heads are already "flighted" based on the variable location of the mass so I don't know that getting flighted shafts is the best idea. I got my MX-25's with the Dynamic Gold SL shafts because I did not want the higher trajectory provided by the Dynalite SL but did want the light weight. The DGSL shafts are great!

Would you say that getting the flighted rifles on the MX-25s would be detrimental to the point of lost distance? Would the ball just balloon too much? I've been thinking about getting the MX-25s with the flighted rifles since my ball flight is relatively low. I'm using TTDG w/ Sensicore right now.

The "Project X" flighted shafts will rise to the point they're designeds to rise to, flatten out and land very softly.

If you're a flat/low ball stiker, then I think you'll really enjoy them and you will greatly benefit.

Are the Project X flighted that much better than the standard flighted shafts? Or rather, is the extra value derived worth the difference in price? Thanks.

To be honest with you I don't think that you and I, at 12's & 15's, are going to notice that much f a difference to warrant the cost of these shafts.

If you can purchase irons with these shafts already on them, like the Callaway X-20 Tours and X-forged, then it's a bonus, but I think the Dynamic Golds and many others for that matter will suit us fine. You may want another opinion, but I hope that helps.

I am also a high trajectory hitter as well. I am looking at the MX-25s, what is your swing speed? Want to see if these shafts would work well for me as well.

Man, I'm going to get grilled for this, but...

I refuse to play any make/model of any club manufacturer that has not been played on tour at some time.

I know a scratch player that plays MX-25 irons and has kicked my ass.

A regular golf playing partner of mine plays MX-17 irons and he's a good player of almost the same ability as that MX-25 dude.

IMHO, I don't notice any "eyesight" difference between the MX-25, 23, 17, and the rest of the "whatever" Mizuno "fat-iron" club selection. They be fugly.

They all look the same and are available at the same prices...

    • A list with both Airborne and Goonies.......   I think a list of 5 is very difficult Shawshank is definitely on the list Boogie Nights (This is a great film, but Really tough to omit PT Andersons other work . so I would need to include Magnolia and There Will Be Blood. And if we are being honest Daniel Day Lewis had a hell of a performance in There Will Be Blood. Actually if you watch There Will Be Blood and then Phantom Thread, you get to see DDL perform at 2 very different characters at opposite ends of the spectrum) No Country for Old Men Godfather (GodFather 2 may be the better film) Good Fellas (I might argue that Casino deserves as much love as Good Fellas, it is simply a great gangster film) Usual Suspects Saving Private Ryan (but Spielberg has made so many great movies) L.A. Confidential Almost Famous (This is one of my personal Favorite films, ever!) Modern Times (an almost perfect silent film made as the talkies were taking over)
    • They keep coming.
