I am in the process of purchasing new clubs.  I have previously golfed every couple years and borrowed clubs.  I am 6'4" and left handed.   Any feedback on quality clubs for newer golfer??

At 6' 4" you're likely going to need a fitting to make sure they get the right lenght and lie angle.   Not every club is available in a left handed version and most golf stores carry limited stock so best bet is to find a place that's having the major manufacturers there for demo and fitting to ensure you get properly fit.  If you're a 12 handicap you might want to check out the Mizuno JPX-800's, Titleist AP2, Callaway Razr X Forged, Ping G15/I15's to start.

      I never heard dislike for them.  From my perspective, they are just like any other club. Though, they were always probably over-priced, until recently as other club manufacturers have been raising prices the past 5+ years. You had to wait for them to go on sale, which you can get them closer to other club manufacturers.  They sell good clubs. Nothing crazy..

      Why do so many people dislike PXG clubs and constantly criticize them? All the folks at my club and especially online, I never hear good things about them except from people who bought them and defend them. They look fine to me but curious is there some sort of quality issue or is it just stereotyping the buyers.

      I have the LM1 launch monitor and I’ve been very impressed. I agree with your assessment and it’s very accurate for me and ease of use is wonderful. The price point of $199 is very hard to beat with this form factor and performance. I was previously using a PRGR.
