Played Hogan Radials eons ago.  I think they might have been Hogan's first foray into GI irons.  Had a wider, sort of rounded sole.  They hit pretty good as I recall.

I had a set of Original Edges and played them for years. Loved them, a great shake better than the mass issue set of Dunlops or whatever I was playing. They were stolen and then replaced by another set of mass market clubs. They then were replaced by a set of Fort Worth Edition Edges my Dad found at an Estate sale for $50. I traded him my set and gave him $50 for them. Loved these as well. Still play them once in awhile. The Edges made me a better ball striker. While mishits weren't the stingers that normal blades gave, they wouldn't cover your faults by "correcting trajectory" due to a toe or heel hit. The Sweet spot wasn't HUGE, but bigger than the blades I learned on.

I've played various Hogans from the mid-60s, and I still love my 1999 Apex irons. Having replaced the old and tired Apex4 shafts some years ago, I still claim those clubs to be some of the finest ever produced.

I play the Hogan FTXs, which are a graduated set (the wedge, called an "E" for escape [Hogan's term, not mine] is a blade, and the irons get more forgiving/cavity-backed down to the 3i).

Great set...great feel...you need to hit 'em pretty pure for sure though.
