It sure can. SkyCaddie uses the enhanced accuracy mode that the boys in Washington finally unlocked to the general public. As long as you have at least 4 satellites locked up it will use the enhanced accuracy mode. I forget at the moment what it's called but the Skycaddie GPS units show a little "+" sign by the signal strength meter when it's on.

Nifty. Now I need to find someone with that. If I'm going to spend $350 on golf, it's going to be on more lessons (or new clubs when my ability to play warrants something beyond super-game-improvement irons).

Maybe that's because both people who are trying to evaluate theirs are still in college... but I'm glad to know the idea works. Thanks :)

I just got an iGolf GPS to help keep up with my yardage this year. It was on sale for $170.00 including shipping.
