Hybrid Help

Guys. Need help on choosing a new hybrid.

1. Adam's Idea Pro w/ Aldila Proto VS shaft.
2. Callaway X Hybrid w/ Graphite Design YS Hybrid
3. Titleist PT585.H w/ Aldila NV Hybrid
4. Taylormade Rescue TP 2007 w/ RE*AX 85 TP by Fujikura

Please let me know how your choice differs from my current TM Rescue Dual TP w/ Diamana Blue. Thanks.

You may wish to try the new Cobra Baffler DWS with the Aldila NV shaft. It is very easy to hit and comes in a variety of lofts. I have one, like it a lot and I'm thinking of getting another to replace my 5 iron. Good luck.

I'd throw out the Titleist and add the Cobra Baffler to that list and see if you can hit them. All 4 of those are great utility clubs.

I think the Adams pro, while a great hybrid may be a little less forgiving than say, the X hybrid. Would you be replacing your Rescue Dual? Because that's a great one too.

I put a Callaway X Hybrid 21 degree in the bag recently and I love it. Being 210 yards out isn't scary anymore. :)

FWIW, I've got the Aldila NV shaft in mine. Same shaft I have in the 3 wood and driver - didn't want to have to adjust to the look of something else, and they didn't offer the stock shaft in x-stiff.

Yeah trying to replace my current hybrid because it's #2 but 16 degrees and 41.25 inches in length. I would like to get one with maybe 17 or 18 degrees with a shorter, more controlled shaft option. I hit as far as my 3 wood with my current hybrid... Only a few meters less compared to fairway wood.....

I have 2 cobra's and will likely add the 16 degree in the next month. Had my old ones reshafted with an Accra Hybrid shaft which I expect to make a huge difference in consistantcy. The Aldila that comes with them are HL (High Launch), but the frequency on them is very whippy. Good luck.
