Gotta love Dan Jenkins who long ago said "the only things that can stop Tiger from breaking Jack's record is a bad marriage or an injury.."

still a tiger fan...here's to his health

So for the people on here that say he won't win another major what do you say about both Phil and Ernie winning in there early 40's? Obviously Tiger is significantly better than both of them. So why can't he get one or more in his early 40's?

Well, just speaking for myself, I would have also voted that Phil and Ernie (or any individual) wouldn't win another Major at that age.

Obviously doesn't mean that it can't happen (but that wasn't the question).

Just more unlikely than likely in my opinion if I was forced to bet on it. Sometimes you win bets and sometimes you lose bets.

For the record if the question had been who among current players has the best odds of winning a Major after 40 I would have voted for Tiger (even with a bad back). I think he'll figure out a way to swing the club without aggravating his back and I think he's better than everybody else even if not 100% healthy.

Well i'm not sure about this one.

I think we have to see how he comes back in his next tournament.

We all forget how he did last year. Went from place 50 all the way to 1.

in how many tournaments???? 5 starts or something

if he can that form of play i will see him beat jacks record.

    • Day 35, June 8. Before leaving for work this morning (yes, I'm posting this quite late relative to the practice), I spent 15 minutes practicing at home, into a net.  This time, it was primarily 9-iron (full swings), with some UW (full and half) and a few 6-iron.
    • Day 73: just some mirror work today. Working on feels for being open and getting the front shoulder down.
    • I'm liking this. Finally getting down hands in front of my trail leg pocket consistently at A6 with much better clubhead position (relatively not as tipped out). I can really pressure the shaft through impact with good face control  from this position and stay in balance. Won my first one v one march 5&4 against a 4 hcp who routinely drives it 35-40 yards past me in the men's club match play . Frustrated him with some solid iron play and air tight putting.
    • Day 279 6-8  Worked on low point control skills work tonight. will be doing this for a few weeks. Tonight was just trying figure out how to get low point forward.  No ball.
