build up a standard sized grip, or buy midsize?

not sure what decision is best but id like some incite. buy a midsize grip? or should i build up a standard?

not sure how much grip tape on a standard makes a midsize. and im not sure if im willing to take the chance on them still not being big enough.

also, anybody like Pure Grips?

To each is own, but I would just use the mid-size grips.

I use mid-size grips and install them myself. More tape is more time and money.

I just got a mid sized one and really like it,  why go through more trouble than you have to?

are you talking in reference to pure grips? i know the most common things about pure grips is durability, and the ease of putting on/replacing the grip with the air compressor. the few other companies ive been looking at is lamkin crossline (possibly cord), pure grips, and two questionable grips.

1. i have an old wilson "staff" blade pitching wedge, that i bought with the entire irons set, that has a golf pride sofftie on it. BUT its full cord. And i literally have no idea where to find a grip even remotely the same. golf pride players sofftie cord? cant find even a review. and

2. i recently bought a tour edge 3 wood that has a switched taylormade motore f1 shaft, but i love the grip on it. Black Widow tour silk. It's a little worn out but i know brand new and maybe even midsized it could be a really solid grip. I've been looking around black widow stuff online and they look decent.

and i forgot the last grip i want that i will never find. Royal Grip tour sand wrap by lamkin. apparently they were huge in the asian market and lamkin bought them out because of their strength in selling points. They look stunning and i know for a fact that id love the feel. apparently this is a preferred grip for Phil Mickelson. Only one i found was a set of 13 on Ebay, standard sized, which is why i wanted to ask about "building up".

golf is the most complicated sport, and its only complicated because of equipment. haha
