I have ordered some irons and shafts which I am going to put together. (Adams CB2 and TT DG R300 .370)

The set of heads includes a 50 degree Gap Wedge.

True Temper recommends trimming of 4.25" for a PW

The playing length of the PW will be 35.75"

The playing length of the GW will be 35.5"

I am wondering how I should tip trim the GW shaft.

I would greatly appreciate input from our resident experts.

Thanks very much in advance.

In the race of life, always back self-interest. At least you know it's trying.

My preference is to tip PW and GW the same.  The SW and LW to be tipped the same a 8 iron.(This gives you better feel on the short shots- recommended by Lee Trevino and Jack Nicklaus)
