joining club and have my first comp next friday!!!!

went for an early moring round today and happened to be a club members weekly £1 individual comp, got talking to a few of the guys and was encouraged to give it ago, i was going to wait to join until start of next season but they have a winter season starting in a few weeks and a few more summer season comps over the next few weekends,

i explained i have no offcial handicap but i had worked it out and its 28 they said that i would start as a off 18 and then be adjusted the following week i take it as its to make sure im not sandbagging?

but yeah im excited to meet new golfers and play in a competitive envioroment, i know im poop and have a gazillion and 3 things to work on, but i love to play and love to compete gives me more focus i have found with other sports when i compete with others

so yeah im excited for next week!!!

There is a very nice course near me and I am waiting on their deals for Winter... :-)
