Donations for High School Teams

I am not sure if looking for donations for a Title 1 high school golf team is alright or not. If not please delete it. If this is not the right spot to place it ... please move it to the correct space.

Hello all,

I have been asked to help with the mens and womens golf teams at the high school I teach at. No I am not a great golfer. Just very enthusiastic.

I went in and met with the girls and the other coaches (girls in the fall, boys in the spring) the other day. I was informed that we have clubs for the ladies and was taken to where they were. My goodness. They were all mismatched irons and woods from any random yard sale/Salvation Army finds across a dozen years.

So I thought I would reach out to extended family, you all, and see if anyone would be interested in donating in exchange for a tax receipt. We have permission from the district and administration to make this offer.

What we are looking for is: matched iron sets, recent technology drivers, fairway woods, hybrids, etc. a couple of model years back is perfectly fine.
