I've seen different methods online for trying to get a high ball flight.  I hit a high (for me) cut shot okay, but I'm interested in how different golfers hit a high straight shot or a high draw with their irons.  When I need to play a low shot I just put the ball back in my stance and make sure to keep my hands in front of the ball.  Does just playing the ball forward encourage a higher than normal ball flight?  What other mechanical keys do people use?

Tuck the butt most, jump and raise the belt the most, point the chest to the sky the most, hump the giraffe the most. All with a ball position slightly forward.

Hump the giraffe.  I always forget about that.  Thanks for the reminder.

when i hit a high draw i feel like my wrists and grip pressure are very light, i swing the club smoothly from the inside and really focus on swinging it out to right field. that coupled with the ball up in my stance about a ball or two, lets me hit a higher shot when need be. the high draw is a great shot to have, hope this helps you figure it out!

Club head speed and pure.  That is how you hit it high.  If you don't have it, I don't see how it is possible to hit irons (partlcularly long and mid) high (and far).
