I bought these set of Mizuno MP-14 from someone on Craigslist about two months ago. The previous owner took good care of the clubs because the clubheads were all really clean and barely had any dents and chips. Now I've recently noticed that on the 3-iron, there is a small gap forming between the iron and the black plastic thing that I think helps hold the head to the shaft.

Anyways, its probably easier to understand what I'm talking about by just looking at the picture. All my other irons do not have this little gap between the little black thing and the clubhead. BTW I am able to move the black thing slightly so that I could lessen the gap, but the gap will still come back.

Should I be concerned?

That's the ferrule, a cosmetic plastic sleeve. Put in a drop of superglue and push it back into place.

Yea those are real. My friend also uses a set of MP-14, in a little worse shape. They look and feel exactly the same. I was also surprised by the good condition that they are in. The previous owner did not use it too often and if he did he would clean it after every round (which is what I have been doing as well) Which brings me to question should I resell these for a large profit? How much do you think they would be worth?

Resell? Profit? Just sell them already. There's a Mizzy fanboy out there somewhere who'd actually use them.
