I have an Aldila NV65 green in my Titleist 905T driver and an Aldila NV65 pink in my Mizuno F50 3wood. Any thoughts on these two shafts? Any comments much appreciated.

correct me if I'm wrong but isn't one of those geared towards men and the other women? Good shafts.... NV65 green I think has a little higher kickpoint than, say the NVS for a slightly lower ball flight. The NV65 Pink, is for women I think so I imagine that would have a much lower kickpoint and more flexible.

I think the green and pink are the same shaft. I saw this on a couple of bits on different golf shows on TV last year. Paula Creamer was playing this shaft and like most on the LPGA plays shafts aimed at men. They made her some in Pink since it is her trademark color and it has become a minor fad.

It is definitely a mans shaft, although they do do it in a ladies flex. Just was wondering how it compared to other Aldila shafts

Looks to me the pink and the green are the same shaft just the pink is a lighter shaft weight, basically an NV-55. It seems odd to me that you would put such a lightweight shaft in a fairway wood, I thought fairway woods had heavier shaft then your driver - but I guess it all comes down to personal preference.

Just purchased an NV55 Pink Shaft A flex as I'm almost 70 and have lost a little distance, especially since hip replacement and now battleing cancer.  Going to incorporate into my Nickent 4dx evolver adjustable head just to see what I can pick up distance wise.  At the cost I figured I could loose anything.

Great purchase for a discontinued shaft, got it for 16 bucks direct from Aldila
