I'm learning how to strike the ball before I make a divot, and have pretty well picked it up with wedges and short irons.

The shaft angle of my wedge is probably 75-80 degrees from vertical at address.

Will the shaft angle of the longer irons be closer to 90 degrees?

for me it seems that my longer irons are more vertical. i try to make a more sweeping or flatter swing with my long irons 3-6. 7-w are angled more.I take a pretty deep divot though with these.
