Has anyone hit these? or are you still bagging them?  I was just curious as to how people liked them.  I was able to hit their demo 6 iron at one point and seemed alot like the original wide sole fusions.  How do they compare forgiveness wise to the Cleveland HB3's? Distance? Forgiveness?  Thanks for any feedback you can provide.....

Mizuno MP600 driver, Cleveland '09 Launcher 3-wood, Callaway FTiz 18 degree hybrid, Cleveland TA1 3-9, Scratch SS8620 47, 53, 58, Cleveland Classic 2 mid-mallet, Bridgestone B330S, Sun Mountain four5.

I have hit them. They are great. If you have a half decent swing, they are perfect. I think they are the best game improvement clubs for men. They hit longer than regular irons, they are very forgiving, and the 4 and 5 irons are easier to hit than an any other iron set I have ever encountered. These game improvement clubs are so good, they are hard to find on the used iron rack.

The only bad thing is the lie angle cannot be adjusted by club fitters because the club heads will not fit in the standard "machine" used for lie angle adjustment.

IMO (In My Opinion) the only reason you ever find these clubs on the used rack is because the previous owner's swing has improved (meaning he doesn't have a big slice anymore). The offset on these clubs really help to cure slicing while the hybrid style "throws" the ball high and long into the air.

Enjoy.

    • Really interesting you say that. As my swing has improved I'm starting to struggle with pulling left. It looks like a "draw", but it has more to do with face than path, as I'm pretty close to neutral to slightly out to in most of the time. I've also moved the ball considerably further forward in my stance than I used to, so it makes sense the face would be further shut at impact than before.  Now I think of it, I've been compensating by aiming by an uncomfortable amount to my right, which causes my brain to panic on the downswing. I might try opening face at address and get used to that.
    • Day 13 (13 May 25) - Nice break in the rain just after mid-day, so got outside to continue the trail hand drill - moved up to 7i but still with hard foam balls.  Starting to see a smoother transition into the downswing and more consistent ball first contact.   Kept the swings to about 3/4 speed as I work on this small adjustment in the swing.
    • Day 6: Worked on my putting stroke by hitting putts using only my right hand.
    • I've got pretty big hands but I've also felt the challenge of ensuring the grip is in the fingers resulting in a not on purpose stronger grip. I've been making some swing changes that was resulting in the natural feeling at impact being a closed face. My grip has always been fairly strong. Not trying to sound like an asshole or anything, but the answer for me at least was just to start taking the grip from a weaker starting point! I have a pretty ingrained hand and wrist setup when I take my grip. I just started turning the club to have an open face when I start my getting the grip in the pinky routine. Has been working nicely. Lets me have the grip in my fingers and achieve a more neutral grip.
    • @dennyjonesand I are planning to stay in the Poland, OH area Friday night.  If any want to get together for dinner and/or drinks let us know. We are not sure exactly where we will stay or what time we will get there but if we can hook up with any of you it would be fun.
