Instead of focusing on keeping your left arm I would focus on keep your right arm more straight.  That way you won't have to much tension in your left arm and by doing some extensor action the left arm will straighten.  Try this.


That video was hard to watch all the way through - fighting the urge to punch someone in the face right now - maybe in slow motion and muted will help.

Anyway, @ the OP: try initiating your downswing with hips sliding foward and unwinding, right before your hands reach the top. Just a thought.

Video update! This is a down-the-line shot of me hitting a big draw. This was totally unintentional but it looks awesome! I have a caddy view shot of the driver swing, but the overhead lights at the range washed it out a little, so I'm attaching a video of my 4-hybrid. If you guys need the driver swing instead, I can post it and hopefully you can make out the details you need.

I bought an outdoor net yesterday so I can get more video as soon as I get home and have enough daylight.
