Good morning, I bought a set of Cleveland HB3 Hybrid irons and I like them but I prefger to hit my fairway woods as much as possible. Old age and a couple of shoulder surgeries are the reason for that. In an effort to lighten my bag, I want to remove irons and hit woods. Can you tell me which fairwood would more than likely replace a hybrid 5 iron?

Thanks,

T.

Look for a 26-27 (give or take a degree) degree fairway wood or fairway wood-ish looking hybrid.

The problem with fairways is their shaft length - too long - you might look at the Adams A12 OS - it's almost fairway like in appearance. See the specs in the link below.

Mr Desmond, thanks for the reply, I have 3,5,7,9 woods, I suppose the simplist way for me to know is just go out and hit em and see what happens. If I could I would only have pw, 9, and 8 irons in my bag but that probably won't work. Oh yeah, and a putter.
