Does anyone think that Ping may come out with a new version of the Ping Eye 2's in the near future. I have seen the newer Ping Eye 2 XG wedges around and just saw the Cleveland Classic Driver on the internet and that makes me curious to see where the trend curve is going for golf clubs. I am also curious as to whether or not Ping may come out with a full 'heritage' series of irons or something similar to their famous Eye 2 irons. IF they were to do this what do you think will happen to the price and demand of the original Eye 2's. I am looking to get a used set of the Eye 2+'s but I don't now what the future will be for them.

Please let me what you think.

For a premium price, Ping will make you a new set of Ping Eye-2 irons. They keep the molds and specs on their vintage irons. So, I doubt that Ping would have a reissue - this would be too much like what other companies do. ... like ...

Callaway X20 NG (although this is a lower pricepoint strategy), Cleveland 588 wedges and new matching irons...

Back in the day I was a Ping Staff Member and played every new model that was introduced.  Too my way of thinking the Eye was much better than the Eye 2.
