no tell me its not so. I skipped out of english class it was my 6th period class and I went to play golf.  So now I write for a living but glad to see english teachers still watching over me. I did realize I was going to get graded.  Play more golf and let the little stuff go.

Parallel tip shafts can be, and are meant to be tip trimmed, then butt trimmed for length.  Oh....I assume you are still talking about irons????  Taper tip shafts are meant to be butt trimmed only for length.  They can be hard or soft stepped though, not by trimming, but by moving the shaft up or down from their intended club head. For example, installing a 5 iron shaft into a 6 iron head would be soft-stepping.  Parallel shafts would just be trimmed, as in cut for a 5, but installed into a 6.

I am actually hooked!  I want to keep posting, just to see what idiotic things you are going to come out with next.  Good luck with that writing career, honestly.

They are really smooth.  Not a lot of feed back, but the same with the titlelist AP2s. The MOI was about perfect. I heard some pros bashing them, most of them I've beat along the way with my cavity backs.  I had blades when I was 12 years old hated the sting from off center hits, still think of them as yesterday technology.  Everyone runs out and buys the new driver technology but not the irons..MC and MB swing MOI is a little low for me but a great club so I have a tendency to pull them a little.  This lower center of gravity with the weight being in the back is perfect instead of in the shaft, gives great feel. I've always felt cast was more forgiving but if all the specs were the same for both the forged or cast you would not be able to tell the difference.  I would say... it felt forged or solid to me.  The sound seem a little different not really noticeable and no performance differences. The TM CBs were more of a forge body with a face insert.  a little smaller face. Great club but TM is no longer making them r11 took its place and a couple of hundred cheaper.  I've hit both and the R11 is maybe a little more forgiving and I play in a pros game on Saturday, need to get the yardage down before I use them.  Using a cast club around them is like going to church and calling mother Theresa  a  *****. Some are using the AP2s which is a modified forge club.

R11,s and CB,s are both quality sets.Having said that I tried out both and preferred the feel of the CB,s.Any club that u hit bad is gonna give u feed back either thru vibration or loss of distance.IMHO it,s all about what u prefer, just make sure u get fitted and I guess a lesson or two.
