Just what the topic says--although I'm not sure how I could've made a poll option out of it.

My pitching wedge is part of a set of Cobra irons I got last year (3-PW). It'll fly about 120 yards, maybe more, on a good day, but I rarely hit any of my wedges hard, if I can help it (I'd rather hit an easy 9 than nuke the pitching wedge).

My sand wedge was made by Adams, and it's got Tom Watson's signature on it. 56 degrees, not sure if it's enough loft to get the job done on flop shots though. As of this posting, I'm going out to Golf Galaxy later today to find a lob wedge, since I don't have anything that can stop the ball on a dime when I need it to.

Is there not a poll for this? For some reason I thought there was.

I use Clevelands... I had the 588 Gunmetal for years and just recently went to the CG10 Black Pearl for my 56 and 60 (still have the 588 GW). Both are great wedges.

Well, anyways, yeah, I've gotten back from Golf Galaxy. I tried out the Nike SV, an Adams lob wedge, Titleist Vokey, a Cleveland CG10, the 588, and a Mizuno MP-R. After hiting each of them extensively, I settled on the Mizuno. I was too inconsistent with the Adams, I was priced out of the Nike, and the Clevelands, while good, didn't fly high enough (The Mizuno flew higher and the point was that I needed a wedge to stop the ball on a dime without attempting a flop shot - when I do, I more often than not skull it).

I use 3 wedges at the moment and I'm adding a 4th. Ping i3 blade PW 47*, Ping i3 blade UW 52*, and a cleveland CG10 58* standard bounce. I'm adding a CG10 56* low bounce.

I'm going in circles over this at the moment. I have two 56° sand wedges at the moment, and I like both for different things. My Cleveland is the best I've ever owned for getting out of greenside bunkers, but I don't have much luck with it from grass. My Infiniti IP-3 is great for chipping and pitching, but I really struggle to hit it well from the bunkers. I really want to keep both, but that means I would have drop one of my hybrids, and I don't particularly want to do that either.... Thus, my conundrum....

I don't know your game but I can't imagine someone carrying two 56 degree wedges. Maybe switch them depending on what course you are playing (carry the Cleveland on courses with lots of sand and the Infiniti on courses with little sand). I dunno... they probably feel differently so that may just screw you up. You could get more bounce in that Infiniti.... or chip with another wedge other than your 56 (I see you have a 51 gap wedge). Either way I'd personally see if I could get some practice time in with both and settle on one. I imagine you have been switching back and forth (I noticed you listed a CG11 a month ago..) so that might not be helping you.

I use a Titleist Vokey 254.10 sand wedge and usually a Titleist Vokey 260.04 lob wedge. Depending on course condition i'll sometimes use my Titleist Vokey Spin Milled SM60.04 lob wedge.

I have all Titleist Vokey Wedges..I used to play with Cleveland 588s but find the Vokeys "feelwise" much better...

I love my wedges!

My PW and GW are Titleist 775CB, and my 56* and 60* are Cleveland 588 DSG. I love them all.
I have a cleveland 588 56 degree (I wore my other cleveland out). I also carry a Srixon 54 degree. The Cleveland gets me out of the sand, and rough and the Srixon is pure magic off tight lies, hard pan,and finesse shots around the green. Different tools for different jobs.

There are so many good wedges available these days, as well as many options from which one can choose: type of grooves, type of finish on the clubead, type of shaft, type or brand of grip and, of course, so importantly, degree of bounce. Typically, one chooses a higher bounce for the sand wedge and a lower bounce for the others, although there are exceptions to that rule. I use Titleist 775cb PW and Gap wedges and a Titleist Vokey 56.14 Spin Mill wedge with the same shaft ( NS Pro ) as that which is installed on the 775s. I also bought, but don't generally carry, a Titleist Vokey 60.04 Spin Mill wedge. My Vokey wedges are in the chrome finish, but they are also available in a finish that rusts.

Just curious why you don't carry the 60*. I have the same wedge, only in the oil can and love it from the rough or fringe, but can't hit it out of the sand or tight lies/hard pan--this may be due to not practicing with it a lot yet though?
