My best rounds are after remembering a modern golf ball doesn't move too much left or right so "fairly straight" is about all the curve I'm gonna get. I work on trajectory and to try to hit very slight fades and draws. Keeping the ball in play helps me play quicker.

I don't begrudge someone who works the ball though, since it is fun and this is just a hobby for most of us, but not making me trudge through the long grass to help look for balls when the ball curves the wrong way gets old in a hurry. If you're insisting on working the ball, do everyone a favour and also work on becoming an expert on the Ball Flight Laws.
